Celebrating National Hospice and Palliative Care Month During November
November is National Hospice and Palliative Care Month, which is a time to raise awareness about the care options available to those coping with life-limiting illnesses.
At Visiting Nurse Health System, we recognize November as the start of the season when families begin to gather for the holidays. Our goal is to build awareness of the care and services provided by Hospice Atlanta, especially as loved ones seek support and quality time together at this time of year.

National Respiratory Care Week: October 23-29
Many of us simply breathe in and out without thinking too much about it. For the millions of people suffering from respiratory conditions, however, even the simple act of breathing can be challenging. National Respiratory Care Week, which runs from October 25th to the 31st, provides an opportunity to learn more about respiratory conditions and thank members of the respiratory care profession.

Each day our Community Care program case managers and nurses partner with care providers across Georgia to help nursing home-eligible seniors and vulnerable adults remain safe, independent, and supported at home.
Through our Community Care Programs, CCSP, SOURCE, and HCBS, our clients and members receive the essential services and care coordination that improve their quality of life and support aging in place.
