Infusion Services
It’s no longer necessary for you to travel to a hospital or clinic to get prescribed infusion therapy. With our at home infusion services our skilled nurses can administer the fluids or medicine right in the comfort of your own Atlanta area home…which provides ultimate convenience and peace of mind. Our various therapies can assist you with infections, fluid replacement, nutritional deficits, cardiac conditions, cancer symptoms and many other challenges.
This Visiting Nurse Health System home healthcare service begins with a clinical assessment. Once the protocol is decided upon, the patient and the family are trained and educated about the medication and the managing of IV lines and pumps. After the infusion, the nurse will take simple lab work to make sure the procedure is working effectively. And as always, we will collaborate and communicate with your physician.
Our Infusion Services include:
- Hydration therapy
- Nutritional support
- Inotropic therapy
- Antibiotic therapy
- IVIG (intravenous immunoglobulin) therapy
- Pain management via PCA (patient-controlled analgesia) pumps
