Our organization supports our patients in need by providing nearly 9,000 charitable care visits each year.  This means that patients, who are often turned away from other providers because they are expensive to treat and yield little financial incentive to care for, get the care they deserve. For this vulnerable population, Visiting Nurse Health System is THE community safety net provider. Your charitable contributions enable us to serve all patients regardless of insurance coverage or ability to pay. Thank you for helping support our work to be Georgia’s solution to health care and aging services in the home.

As a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization, all donations are tax deductible to the extent provided by law.

Legacy of Care Gala Sponsorships

By sponsoring the Legacy of Care Gala, you become part of a powerful mission to ensure that every adult – regardless of age, income, or circumstance – receives the dignity of compassionate healthcare at home.

Your partnership with Visiting Nurse Health System supports Georgia’s most vulnerable seniors through home health, hospice, and aging services. Together, we are building a legacy of care that improves lives, strengthens communities, and honors the belief that every life deserves dignity.

Through the funds raised through Legacy of Care Gala, Visiting Nurse provides healthcare at home services not covered by insurance but are essential to the health, dignity, and stability of the people we serve. Your support will help in the following ways:

  • Direct Patient Care: Home health, hospice, and private care visits
  • Community Bereavement: Grief support services for families: Camp STARS, Resilience, end-of-life doula program, music therapy, and small group workshops.
  • Telehealth: Remote patient monitoring for high-risk cardiac and diabetic patients.
  • Aging with Dignity: Evidence-based model of care developed by Johns Hopkins to help older adults remain safe and independent at home.

Giving Stock

Giving a gift of stock to Visiting Nurse Health System is easy!  Simply call our Office of Advancement at (404) 215-6172 and we’ll walk you through the process, needing the following information:

  • Name of the stock, and the number of shares transferred, and price per share per the date of donation
  • Your name, address and phone number
