11 Nov Camp STARS 2025
Another meaningful Camp STARS this November! Thank you to our brave Campers entrusting us with your journey through grief. Camp STARS bereavement camp is designed to help people understand they are not alone and that their feelings of loss are normal. We provide a safe environment for children and adults to share their feelings, meet others in similar situations, and have fun while learning how to grieve in an emotionally healthy way.
Founded in 1994, Camp STARS is offered every spring and fall for “families.” Mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, siblings, grandparents, one person or family of 10—however you define the word “family.” This interactive and supportive three-day camp offers activities such as music and singing, games, arts and crafts, family entertainment, fishing, boating, group sharing and opportunities for families to simply spend time together. A special service of remembrance gives each family a chance to honor their loved one. Staffed by volunteers, professional counselors, social workers, and chaplains, we have a dedicated staff who have experience working with the bereaved.
