Long-Term Care at Home
Dorothy is a leader in home and community-based care for seniors and the disabled. She is executive director for the Long-Term Care at Home division with Visiting Nurse Health System. Her responsibilities include two Georgia Medicaid waiver programs for the aged, blind, and disabled, Alzheimer’s respite care, and case management for two county-based systems. Prior to Visiting Nurse, Dorothy marketed a new service line for Tenet Healthcare with a delivery model designed to meet the needs of seniors and the disabled who are accessing healthcare services. Dorothy speaks on aging-in-place with an emphasis on caregiver burden and developing models that deliver person-centered, low-cost solutions. Dorothy received her Master’s degree in developmental psychology from Vanderbilt University and is licensed in Georgia.
