Mel Coker Named New Board Member for Visiting Nurse Health System
Atlanta, January 3, 2024 – Visiting Nurse Health System, Georgia’s leader in providing healthcare and aging services at home, announced the election of Melinda (Mel) Coker, P.E., as the new board member for Visiting Nurse Health System.
Currently the President and CEO of M Coker Consulting, Mel brings with her over a decade of strategy development expertise, driving investment in both core and new business ventures, and extensive Board of Directors experience. Previous experiences include her serving as Chief Marketing Officer, leading the transformation of AT&T’s consumer wireline business. As Chief Strategy Officer, Mel led the 5G wireless strategy plan for AT&T as well as fiber deployment plans for both consumer and business. She earned her Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
