Dorothy Davis appointed as Visiting Nurse CEO

On Friday, January 18 Visiting Nurse Health System’s Board of Directors, Chair Cheryl Venable announced in a statement that the Board of Directors, “appointed Dorothy Davis CEO of VNHS effective immediately”.

The statement from Venable went on to say:

Dorothy was named interim CEO in October 2018 and has lead the organization through a series of changes designed to provide financial stability in 2019 and beyond.  As I’ve watched Dorothy navigate the challenges faced by the organization, she has done so with poise, professionalism and an extreme passion for the organization’s mission.  VNHS serves an important role in Georgia and the Atlanta community.  The Board looks forward to supporting and partnering with Dorothy to create the next chapter in the history of VNHS by serving our community through home health, hospice and community care services.

Dorothy Davis will be succeeding Noreene Mostoff who retired in October 2018.
