We are honored to be here today, having cared for Georgians for the past 75 years, and to be given the privilege to continue to impact millions of lives. Our Annual Impact Reports reflect the incredible efforts it takes to provide quality care, while navigating the many challenges and changes that occur in our healthcare landscape.

In Georgia there is a growing underserved aging population and since 1948, Visiting Nurse has remained the safety-net to provide healthcare at home to the largest number of low-income patients in Georgia. Having a partnership with our community to help provide charitable care funds is our highest funding priority so we may provide access to care for all people. While we make nearly 9,000 charitable care visits each year, there is a rapidly growing need of funding to support the growth of this patient population.

Visiting Nurse brings care into the home through our doctors, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, social workers, chaplains, and nursing assistants. Through our collaborative healthcare partnerships, patients receive what they need to have the best quality of life at home. We coordinate care for our patients to provide services they need, including meals, transportation, daily living support, urgent and primary care at home. Healthcare education also is an important part of our delivery of care as we ensure that our patients and their caregivers receive the information needed for optimal patient outcomes.

We offer volunteer opportunities for individuals, groups and executive leadership.
As an ambassador you will learn how to share our mission to improve the lives of those we serve and bring access to healthcare for everyone. Healthcare Champions are invited to quarterly luncheons and events throughout the year. Partner with us for a healthier community.
Bring hope to low-income patients by providing customized care packages including adult diapers, nutrition beverages, hygiene products, shelf-stable meals, cleaning products, socks, and blankets. Care packages may be delivered to us, and our clinical team will deliver to patient homes. Each care package should include card with a list of items and words of encouragement.
Every day, patients and families across our community rely on compassionate care and supportive services that bring comfort, dignity, healing, and hope to vulnerable individuals and families when it matters most.
Help older adults remain safe, independent, and healthy in their own homes through support that improves daily living and reduces risk of injury and decline.
Help high-risk cardiac patients receive early intervention and continuous monitoring that prevents emergencies and keeps them safely at home.
Many companies offer to match gifts for employees to help maximize community impact. Contact your HR department to begin making a difference.
Provide compassionate, end-of-life support, including an End-of-Life Doula. This experience brings comfort, presence and dignity to patients and their families.
Help children and families grieving a loss find healing, connection, and emotional support through life-changing bereavement care.
A tribute gift is a meaningful way to honor or remember someone special while helping provide compassionate care to patients and families throughout our community.
Celebrate the life and legacy of a loved one through a meaningful charitable gift.
Recognize a caregiver, family member, healthcare professional, or someone who has made a difference in your life.
A planned gift is a meaningful way to extend your compassion beyond today and ensure that future generations continue to receive dignified, compassionate care at home. Through your legacy, you can help bring comfort, independence, and hope to patients and families when they need it most – today, tomorrow, and for years to come.
Planned gifts are flexible and can be tailored to your personal and financial goals. Common options include gifts through a will or trust, retirement assets, life insurance, real estate, or other charitable planning tools.
Your legacy becomes part of a lasting tradition of care that supports patients, caregivers, and families across our community.
You may choose from several types of planned gifts, including:
· Bequests in a will or living trust
· Retirement plan or IRA assets
· Life insurance policies
· Real estate or appreciated assets
· Charitable trusts or donor-advised funds
We encourage you to consult with your attorney or financial advisor to determine the option that best aligns with your goals and intentions.
