Mostkoff elected board chair of Visiting Nurse Associations of America

Atlanta, April 26, 2017 –

Visiting Nurse Health System/Hospice Atlanta today announced President and CEO Norene Mostkoff has been elected as the incoming chairman of the Visiting Nurse Associations of America (VNAA).   VNAA is the leading national trade association supporting and advocating for non-profit home health, hospice and palliative care providers.

“I am honored by the board’s confidence and look forward to collaborating with colleagues from across the country to advance the mission of this outstanding organization,” Ms. Mostkoff said. “Raising public awareness of compassionate care options and promoting patient-centered policy solutions remain our top priorities in today’s high-demand healthcare environment.”

Ms. Mostkoff assumed leadership of Visiting Nurse Health System in Atlanta during June 2016.  Previously, she was president and CEO of Hospice Central Iowa – Visiting Nurse Care Services of Iowa and chief operating officer of HospiceCare Inc. (now Agrace Hospice) in Madison, Wisconsin.  She has more than 25 years of non-profit management experience. Ms. Mostkoff has been recognized as VNAA’s 2015 Outstanding Agency Leader of the Year and by United Way of Central Iowa as 2015 Advocate of the Year.
